Our Story
Hunter first noticed Suzanne on an Abilene High School choir trip to New York. Although they got to know each other well in high school, their relationship wouldn’t get more serious until 2022. After a few short stints living outside of Texas, Hunter was pulled back to Abilene and reconnected with Suzanne, a woman who has a contagious love for their city. From Suz and Hunter's first date at Vagabond Pizza to getting engaged at The Grace, Abilene has provided the perfect backdrop for falling in love with each other.
Hunter’s son, Eli, and Suzanne have taken to each other like peanut butter and jelly. Together, they’ve become part Three Musketeers and part Three Stooges. The cherry on top is that Suzanne’s dogs, Maggie and Mae, were equally warm in welcoming the boys into their lives. Getting here has been a journey, but the biggest adventure is only just beginning.
